Dusted & Delicious began life in 2000 with just two part-time cooks catering for friends and family from a domestic kitchen. Nine years later, we have five fulltime staff members and a revolving group of part-timers, working in the commercial kitchen of the Purple Hatch Cafe at Te Whaea Dance and Drama Centre in Newtown. The cafe is a magnet for Te Whaea's dance and drama students - and their teachers - attracted by the tasty food, excellent coffee and great company provided by owner Liz Means and her two principal chefs, Jo de Vries and Chloe Keylock.
Whether it's morning tea for five or a wedding feast, we'll provide food that is satisfying and unpretentious. It's soul food good quality, hand-prepared, wholesome and attractive. In fact, it's the food you'd cook yourself if you had the time and the skill! We'll deliver the food plated and ready to eat. You can serve it yourself, or we'll provide staff to serve it for you. For completely stress-free entertaining we'll even organise your drinks and glassware, and provide bar staff. |
