Staff
We are happy to drop our food off to you plated and ready to serve, packed for you to heat and re plate at your leisure or provide a full service. Staff costs are $25 per staff member, per hour, with a minimum of three hours each. We can arrange bar and waiting staff, including licensed bar managers.
Drinks
We are happy to arrange all your bar requirements. We source our alcohol products from Regional Wines & Spirits.
Hire
If we don’t have all the equipment needed for your function we will arrange hireage though HireMaster.
Hot food
We do our best to deliver our hot food to you hot so you do not have to worry about re heating. This means we deliver as close as possible to your requested delivery time. If you would prefer food delivered much earlier (and have peace of mind, knowing your food is ready and waiting for your function!) we also plate our hot food on plates that can be heated in an oven.
Labelling
All our platters are labelled with our distinctive Dusted & Delicious stickers, to help us all identify crockery, plus we clearly label food vegetarian, non vegetarian, gluten free and vegan. Gluten free and other special diet meals are presented and labelled separately.
Caring for our environment
At Dusted & Delicious we are very conscience of food waste and the disposable materials we use. We have made several positive steps to minimise these issues:-
- We use a fantastic Wellington City Council service “Kai to Compost”. The council provides us with bins for all our food waste; this is collected at regular intervals to be recycled into compost.
- Although we prefer crockery, occasionally disposable is more convenient for our clients and ourselves. Our disposable dinner plates, side plates, hot cups and napkins are biodegradable. In our cafe at Te Whaea Dance and Drama Centre, we also use biodegradable plates, sandwich containers and napkins. All these items are collected in our Kai bin for composting.
- We recycle all our plastic, paper, cardboard, glass and cans.
- In our cafe we also recycle our deep fryer fat (which is only used for cooking fries!).
